Jonnen Neuvo meme: tapoin kesällä / hyttysen

A Jonnen Neuvo post.

Break time. A boy in a backwards cap tells the whole bench his dad is Nokia's head of technology, his uncle has a Lamborghini and his big brother will batter anyone who doesn't believe it. Nobody has met the brother. The brother is always at the gym. On the bus home he tells you a legless man chased him last night. You ask how. He says "fast". He laughs at this for three stops. At the corner shop he asks for an energy drink. The shopkeeper asks his age. He says fifteen, then twelve, then "nearly eighteen". He leaves with a lollipop. Midnight on a school night, he loses the match and announces on the headset that he let you win. Then, quietly: "Mum says I have to go to bed." **Why it caught on:** Jonne is Finnish shorthand for a childish teenage boy, and "neuvo" means advice, which also makes it a joke on Yrjö Neuvo, Nokia's well-known head of technology. Finnish readers see a whole school corridor in one picture.
